Founder and Director Patrice Puglise

Patrice didn’t sing for eight years after she personally met the Lord Jesus Christ. She closed her    popular New Orleans Night Club, married and pursued other career opportunities – eventually settling in the beautiful mountains of East Tennessee.

It is interesting to note that in the Hebrew Language, the number “8” means “New Beginnings”. After eight years away from music, God called Patrice back into singing exclusively for Him. This began an exciting ministry for her and a true “New Beginning”.

Patrice has ministered in churches around the country as a featured soloist, as well as for revivals, retreats, meetings, and special occasions. She has recorded several dynamic Christian tapes and has published a book on her life story. She is founder and director of Stepping Out which is an outreach ministry to women.

A Testimony by Patrice

Born in the year 1951 in New Orleans, Louisiana – the youngest of two – my parents were in the middle income bracket and provided for me every opportunity possible to advance myself.

I was not the product of: a broken home, alcoholic parents, nor was I abused in any way. Quite the contrary, I was shown love and given much support.

It was I who turned to a life of drugs, alcohol, and fast living. Entering into the music industry slowed me down from running with hoodlums, and con artist – but it only helped to escalate the taking of more drugs and alcohol, which continued for my entire 12 years in professional music.

It wasn’t until I met my husband, Samuel Puglise, in 1983 that my fast life style came to a halt. When we met, he also introduced me to Jesus Christ.

That is when my life truly began and my testimony really begins, for with the acceptance of Jesus Christ into my heart, my life was transformed from darkness to light.

With my past lifestyle, I am able to minister to those who are caught up in the lies of Satan and help them see that they too can turn their lives around, and that they no longer have to be held in the bondage of drugs and alcohol.

My desire is to help others learn, as I did, too:

Step Out

Not Look Back

and Keep Their Eyes on

JESUS
