The Community Outreach Center first opened in November of 2000.  Here people come to the center on a daily basis to receive free clothing and accessories, mentoring, Christian library privileges, teaching materials and fellowship.  Various workshops and Bible Studies are held on a monthly and weekly basis and include:

• Old Fashioned Cooking
• Basic Parenting Skills
• Budgeting
• Home Management
• Organizational Skills

• Understanding God's Word
• Fundamentals of Prayer
• Bad Girl's of the Bible
• Shelter From the Storm
• Sunday and Wednesday Bible Study
• Healing For the Heart

• Men of Valor
• 7th Heaven Character
• Movie Night
• Inspirational Night
• Holiday Adventure

Classes will change at various times of the year and it is suggested that you call Stepping Out (423) 318-0999 to learn which classes are being offered at this time.

Outside activities such as boating trips, bowling, camping, skating and eating out are also provided.  Home visitation is provided for those who require special attention.
